Congrès 'Nanotechnologies in Health: Current challenges and future prospects'. Barcelona

Del 9 a l'11 d'octubre 2013 te lloc el Congrès "Nanotechnologies in Health: Current reptes i future prospects", co-organitzades per B·DEBATE International Center for Scientific Debate Barcelona, juntament amb l'Institut de Biotecnologia i de Biomedicina (IBB) i l'Institut Català de Nanotecnologia (ICN). Amb la participació de la Dra. M ª Jesús Buxó, membre de l'Observatori de Bioètica i Dret UB i professora del Màster en Bioètica i Dret UB.

Event “Nanotechnologies in Health: Current challenges and future prospects” to be held on October, 9th to 11th, 2013, in Barcelona, Spain.

This event is co-organised by B·DEBATE International Center for Scientific Debate Barcelona, together with the Institut de Biotecnologia i de Biomedicina (IBB) and the Intitut Català de Nanotecnologia (ICN).

B·DEBATE drives first-rate international scientific debates to foster dialogue, collaboration and open exchange of knowledge with prestigious national and international  experts,  and to approach complex challenges of high social interest in life sciences. B·DEBATE aims to position Barcelona as a city of knowledge generation and Catalonia as a nation of scientific excellence.

The aim of the meeting is to debate projections of future development and convergence of nanoscience and biomedicine, and discuss the challenges that will be encountered during the next decade in nanotechnology, as well as different real-application issues encountered in the field, with special emphasis on those affecting society.
