On November 6th 2019, Barcelona hosts the Conference "The opportunity of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in clinical decision making and health evaluation”, organized by the Barcelona Bioinformatics Association (BIB), the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Barcelona (UB) and professional societies.
Dr. Itziar de Lecuona, deputy director of the Observatory of Bioethics and Law (OBD), professor of the Master in Bioethics and Law and the Department of Medicine of the University of Barcelona, Work Package Leader "Ethical, legal and socioeconomic issues" of European Research Project MICROB-PREDICT (HORIZON 2020 Ref. 825694) and Dr. Fernando García López, doctor at the National Center of Epidemiology of the Carlos III Health Institute, member of the Bioethics and Law Observatory and professor of the Master in Bioethics and Law, both participate in the session titled "Ethical, social and legal aspects".
