Requirements

Access Degree

The Master's Degree in Bioethics and Law (MBD) of the University of Barcelona will be awarded to all those enrolled ―holding a university degree― who pass the program.

MBD’s students enjoy the benefits and services that accompany the student status at the University of Barcelona.


Registration process

To apply for admission to the Master in Bioethics and Law candidates must fill out the pre-enrolment form and forward it to the MBD's Secretary (master.bd[@]ub.edu) together with a brief curriculum vitae. It can also be sent directly by regular mail to the Observatory of Bioethics and Law or delivered in person at its headquarters.

A selection based on the curriculum vitae will be made among the pre-enrolled, that includes acquired training and professional experience and, if necessary, candidates will be interviewed.

Registration fees

Program enrolment fee:

  • Module I: 3.045 €*
  • Module II: 4.265 €*  

* This amount includes examination fee, academic management, the issue of certificates, special learning support services, etc., and a 70 euros fee for the compulsory Online Campus access. Enrolment fees are not refundable.


Documents

Students with Spanish degree

  • ID copy
  • 1 passport size color photograph.
  • Certified copy of the diploma degree.
  • Pre-enrollment document.
  • Curriculum Vitae.
  • Motivation letter.

Students with foreign degree

Candidates must send the following documents to the Secretariat of the Master in Bioethics and Law at least one month before the beginning of the program.
