"Preventing teenage pregnancies in Brazil"

The Lancet

Last week, a campaign was jointly launched by the Brazilian Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Women, Family and Human Rights to reduce the country’s high teenage pregnancy rate. Under the slogan “adolescence first, preg-nancy later”, the campaign aims to make adolescents and their parents aware, via television, billboards, and social media, of the risks and consequences of teenage pregnancies.
