She is a member of the LAST JD doctoral programme at the University of Bologna, coordinated by the bioethics research center CIRSFID.
  • Member of the Ethics Committee of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC); the Research Integrity Committee of the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBELL); and the Ethics and Data Protection Group of the Spanish Society of Epidemiology and Public Health.
  • Part of the group of experts advising the European Data Protection Board (EDPB).
  • Director of the Bioethics and Law Journal (Revista de Bioética y Derecho) of the University of Barcelona.
  • Member of the University of Barcelona's Bioethics Commission (2011-2023); the Bioethics Committee of Catalonia (2015-2020); and the Research Ethics Committee at the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona (2012-2020).
  • Member of the COVID-19 Multidisciplinary Working Group, Ministry of Science and Innovation (2020-2022).
  • In June 2020, she appeared at the Commission for Social and Economic Reconstruction of the Congress of Deputies, Health and Public Health Working Group, to discuss the bioethical aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Member of the Expert Group on Research Integrity and the Working Group on Ethics in Horizon 2020 (2012-2018) of the League of European Research Universities (LERU).
  • Member of the Ethical, Legal and Social Board of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, Health Division (EIT Health), Knowledge and Innovation Communities (2014-2020).
  • Member of the Advisory Council of Big Data CoE Barcelona (2015-2019).
